When Dana Theisen first became a Franchise Owner with Unicity, she did not have a clear reason behind her decision. She knew that there was the possibility of financial freedom, so she adopted that as her motivation for starting her business. Now that Dana has been a Bios Life Franchise Owner for almost six months, her motivation to succeed in this business has taken on a whole new meaning.

As an Adult Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Cardiovascular and Women's Health, Dana is proud to be a part of a company that develops quality health products based on clinical research. She continues to learn about the science of Unicity’s diverse selection of products and the impact they have on people's health. Her favorite products are the Lean Complete™ meal replacement shakes and Bios Life™.

Dana is a goal setter and interested in activities that help her grow personally. She shares this experience, “I like to compare my experience as a Franchise Owner to something personal in my life. Just in the past year, I have lost close to forty pounds. How did I do it? I made a firm commitment to lifestyle change. I make better choices with food and exercise. Exercise had always been a challenge for me because after two weeks, I would get tired and quit my routine. I decided in February of 2007 to take on something very new to me, running. I followed a nine week training program to be able to run a 5K race. Although my nine week program turned into a 15 week program, I never quit. I repeated certain weeks of training when I did not feel ready to move on to the next or when something kept me from a full week of training. Whatever the obstacle was, I never quit. I ran my first 5K race in April 2007 and four more since then. Now many of you may think ‘5K - that is not a big deal,’ maybe not, but it was my goal, and I achieved it. I believe in this business, the products, the Franchise model, and most of all, the amazing people with whom I work. I also believe in myself and my commitment to empower others, especially women, with the unique opportunity that this company offers. I believe in my beautiful family and that we deserve more time with each other - on the beach, in the mountains, and at home. This opportunity is taking me there.”

Dana resides with her husband and two children in Clermont, Florida.
